What is rungevity?
The Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis 1/2 Marathon is a premier athletic event that provides a fun-filled tour of St. Louis’ vibrant neighborhoods, scenic parks and historic sites. The event, which was held for the benefit of Team Activities for Special Kids (TASK) from 2011-2013, hosted the TASK Force charity racing team and raised more than $2.5 million for TASK.
In an effort to expand the benefitting charity component to a greater number of charities, the QFF proudly launched rungevity in 2014 – a premier charity-racing program to benefit selected St. Louis charities in a unique and exclusive way. Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital and TASK participated in the inaugural year of rungevity. For 2015, the Quinn Family Foundation (QFF) will serve as the title sponsor of the Rock ‘n’ Roll St. Louis Half Marathon.
Individuals have the opportunity to sign up with our charity partners and commit to fundraising for a partner charity. For the months prior to the Rock ‘n’ Roll event, our participants will receive top fitness support from FLEET FEET, including personalized training plans and group runs. They will also receive fundraising resources, from a personalized webpage to charity-led fundraising events. This journey culminates in an unforgettable race weekend, with exclusive VIP events to celebrate the accomplishment of what has been done collectively for the community.
